Moon began her career in the media business with ABC Sports, working on major sporting events culminating with the 1984 Olympic Games in both Sarajevo and Los Angeles . Before opening the doors of her boutique consultancy in 1992, Moon was the Director of Communications for Madison Square Garden Enterprises. During her seven-year stint, Moon developed and directed local, national, and international media campaigns for the Garden's 350 annual events. In addition to coordinating publicity activities for celebrities ranging from Pavarotti to Bob Hope & George Burns, she also worked on events such as the National Horse Show, appearances by the Dalai Lama and the Peking Acrobats, tennis and ice skating spectaculars, and almost 500 rock concerts.

She also worked with Microsoft Corporation's Director of Corporate and Public Affairs for three years, developing an unprecedented Community Services program in the New York metropolitan area. The effort was initiated to help create a vital liaison between Microsoft and elite local business, community and government organizations.
